Suppose I was a recent college graduate passionate about creating content on YouTube. In that case, I might need help finding work in the creator economy.
I may have scoured job boards and reached out to YouTubers directly, but I may have always come up empty-handed.
You may feel the same way. You may feel like you are spinning your wheels and not getting anywhere.
When you see YT Jobs, it will change everything for you.
YT Jobs is a new job board for YouTubers seeking freelancers’ help. The platform allows YouTubers to create profiles and post job ads (free for a limited time) for various positions, including video editors, channel managers, and thumbnail designers.
In this post, I’ll share my experience with YT Jobs, including creating a profile and posting a job. I’ll also share my thoughts on the platform and the positions available.
Features of YT Jobs
You can create a profile at YT Jobs, whether a freelancer or a Youtuber / Channel Owner.
As a Youtuber, you can then post jobs. A landing page for your job is created and can contain a link back to your website.
Jobs are posted by category (editor, manager, etc.), type (full-time, part-time, one-off), and location (remote, onsite, hybrid)
In the future, the posting will cost $245, and the link will cost an extra $100. See the screenshot.
The job board has an excellent search feature and a feed to see jobs right when they post.
Finally, YT Jobs has a messaging feature so you can message Youtubers to ask about the jobs if you like.

Advantages of YT Jobs
I love YT Jobs because it allows YouTubers to quickly and easily find freelancers with the specific skills they need for their channel.
No going to other job search sites to wade through all the opportunities.
If you’re an existing Youtuber, you’ll be able to find the perfect candidate on YT Jobs.
Another advantage of YT Jobs is that it’s currently free to use. However, it is planned that the pricing will start at $245 to post a job.
Despite the cost, this platform is an excellent resource for YouTubers looking to grow their channels and freelancers looking to find work in the YouTube space.
For freelancers with video editing or content managing skills for YouTube, YT Jobs is an excellent resource for finding work.
The platform allows freelancers to create profiles and showcase their skills and experience, making it easy for YouTubers to find the right person for the job.
Disadvantages of YT Jobs
There are no disadvantages to the (free) job board right now.
The only problem I can think of is the lack of transparency around this business.
Who is it? We’ll have to wait to find out.
My Experience Posting a Job with YT Jobs
YT Jobs is a simple, easy-to-navigate job board coded by a great web developer with an eye for a simplistic design.
The job board is designed with sections for jobs, talent (the freelancers), and a feed of the latest postings.
It is not readily apparent who is behind YT Jobs or if it is affiliated with Youtube. There is an email address, and I reached out to them for comment.
I posted a job on YT Jobs for a channel manager for the FinCon Youtube channel. It took less than 5 minutes.
YT Jobs pulled in relevant info from your channel (subs, description, etc) and I was off to the races.
Quality of the Jobs
When I reviewed the available jobs, I found them to be high quality. Many channels I would personally love to work with, if I didn’t already have my own things going on.
The talent is amazing too. One of Mr. Beasts old employees is listed as one of the freelancers.
I found the board in the first place because one of the Youtubers I love (Golf Sidekick) posted a job there a few weeks back. The newsletter from Colin and Samir tipped me off. That’s a very good sign for the job board to have that level of trust.
In Conclusion
I’d encourage you to try YT Jobs if you are a freelancer who wants to work with a Youtuber. And if you’re looking for help with your Youtube channel, you should post your needs on YT Jobs like I did. It’s free!
